Red Wing engagement photos- Nick & Alicia

When Alicia asked me to photograph their engagement photos, i was beyond thrilled! I've known Alicia for such a long time, and even though she's only a few years younger, i immediately thought back to those memories when we were much younger. Capturing moments between these two, i wanted to show how sweet and kind hearted she is and Nick too of course! :)

We went to two different location is Red Wing, Minnesota. The first was just downtown, in between buildings is this magical little place of vine covered walls, brick and lots of beautiful color. Perfect for a session since there isn't a lot of people walking through so Alicia and Nick could focus on one another. 

the second location was memorial hill. for sunset, the whole field just lights up, you can see the city from the top and i mean, did you see that tree in the first photo? i miss trees. i lived 20 minutes from these places growing up and yes i still take advantage of them every time i go back. it's beautiful. 

It was the first time i met Nick, and he did so great in front of the camera, completely focused on his fiancé and so sweet to one another. I absolutely love to see how couples interact and try to figure out their love languages and see their personalities come out. I haven't gotten to be around them yet for a long time (wedding day is coming!) but i adore these two. a love that is sweet and kind, gentle, and patient. 

i'm showing so many sweet moments, but i promise there were smiles too! i don't remember why they started laughing, but it's so cute, i had to show it! 

The more i look at these, the more i love them. congratulations again you two! i can't wait to see you this summer and celebrate your lovely day capturing more sweet and silly moments! Alicia you're already stunning, but i'm so excited to see how full of light you are the day of your wedding too. let all of those moments sink in, and kiss lots.
