Outdoor Boudoir Portraits- Minnesota

I absolutely adore boudoir photography. i love it even more after the first couple shots and a woman's confidence and beauty really comes out. It takes courage to get in front of the camera and to be vulnerable to show what makes you beautiful. I've done it a few times myself, and i always leave feeling confident, beautiful, strong, and that i'm enough. But it's perfectly normal to be nervous, in fact it can help. i know you may not believe me, but those nerves help you trust me more. i can pose you, and help you look your best and show off everything you love! 

This fabulous woman i've known for a long time, but hadn't had the chance to photograph her until this summer. She wanted a special gift for her fiancé the day of their wedding. We met up in Rochester and Kristin Soyring did her makeup. (absolutely love and recommend her!) Kristin suggested an outdoor place that would be pretty private and it worked perfectly. A lot of women think of their own bedroom for photos, but outdoors, in studio, or a hotel can be great because of the light! and this place... was perfect! (aside from the mosquitos) 

This gorgeous woman surprised me and right from the start rocked the camera! i should've known. she's pretty fabulous! she was such a good sport and i adore the images we got.
