Destin Florida Beach Wedding

Truly one of those perfect Destin Florida days where The Gulf is the perfect blue and green- the fabulous Emerald Coast.

Each wedding I have the opportunity to photograph is so sweet and special but there are some that make me cry… even long before the bride walks down the aisle, the words are spoken, or a groom sheds a tear- and this was one of those. Kelsey grew up in the same small town in Minnesota as I did, so seeing her friends and family pour into the house, a reminder of where i grew up just immediately got me. She was always energetic, ambitious, happy, and a wonderful young lady (in fact my mom worked with her at school and constantly talked about how much she loved Kelsey)

this whole day was filled with warmth both from the beach and the family and friends that gathered. It was a beautiful day and evening as we set out on the Solaris Yacht for the reception! Dinner was served while the sun was setting and dancing on the balcony on the ship. It was breathtaking.
