7 Tips to level up your bachelorette photoshoot!
Are you planning a bachelorette or girls trip photoshoot?! Here are 7 tips to level it up!
First, don’t forget- make it your own! there’s no wrong way or bad ideas as long as it fits you and your ladies! But here’s a few things I LOVE photographing and can up the photoshoot to feel more boujie, upscale, and FUN! Read all the way through for a bonus tip.. and how to spoil bachelorette and cherish the moments after the weekend is done too!
before I share ideas to level up your girls photoshoot in 30A, Destin, and PCB Florida..I want to share a few links if you want more information
1- Details- don’t forget it’s all in the details- Even if we’re not having part of the photoshoot at the house you’re staying in- you can bring fun details like… hats, champagne, bags, towels, umbrellas, balloons and whatever else you have to celebrate!
2-Coordinating outfits- they don’t NEED to be matching (although that’s super fun too!) but coordinating makes the whole shoot look more put together and upscale… honestly it’s fabulous. And even though so many women wear black- if you’re going to the beach try another color if you can! pinks, whites, oranges, blues, greens… think light and bright if you’re at the beach!
3- props- i LOVE props, it can add so much to a shorter session and an easy way to get tons of variety to your photo gallery. Think about items like coordinating sunglasses, cute floaties, popping champagne together, and TONS more to show your weekend together! Pinterest and my ideas above in the amazon list is a great way to get started
4-cute decor and themes- this can of course be easier if i’m coming to the house to shoot- because usually there’s already cute decorations everywhere! But they’re so fun to photograph and sometimes add to a few photos that i have ideas for! they also can make for great backdrops. Themes allow for the ladies to lean into the part, and sometimes act extra silly and giggly. and help coordinate-and i’m all about Barbie, Disco, and cowgirl themes but ones like grandma night can be hysterical and fun to capture too!
5-an outfit change- this makes the photoshoot leveled up because it feels like multiple shoots. I normally suggest one cute dressy coordinating outfit and then swimsuits in the pool or the beach! Otherwise a few ideas are your coordinating outfits, tee shirts, pajamas and themes.
6-Boat days- I’ve done a few and i LOVE these. i offer some packages that allow me to be ON the boat with ya’ll so i can get posed, AND lifestyle along with a cute location and showing off the fabulous day ya’ll are having!
7- make it part of another activity- just like the boat day- If you’re having a beach picnic, girls night out or another incredible activity- i can be there for part of it too! More than likely you’ll be dressed up and ready for these activities and can add such cute photos to cherish! and- then you can enjoy, indulge and know it will be captured.
