points:
- I missed it. I thought about it a lot, how It could transform, what I wanted for it in the future, the people I had deep and rich conversations and connected with.
- It was needed in a busy season. I was a bit exhausted and wasn’t feeling creative, inspired, and I felt burnout
-my balance was a bit off, and although I don’t always believe in full balance, my focus needed to be on my wedding, family, events, and my husband.
- it allowed me to reflect and access what was working well and how I could structure my time editing to make it more streamline when I did start back up.
- I also soaked in other podcasts, their format, how they held conversations and although mine will still be me, making sure the conversation is in a format that can be enjoyed, and one that can add value maybe in a more deep level and not just a starting format.
- I took time to also look over my full time photography business and strategies and I can do differently so it can grow, because what brought me to the place I am in business won’t take me to the next level and I felt that strongly in this podcast too. I want it to grow, add value, and also connect with more women!
- I don’t often put things on the back burner when it comes to growing a business and I had to really learn to give myself grace.
- My energy shifted.
- this is something I want to be doing for a long time. Maybe there will be more breaks in the future- but podcasting feels right even when I need to take some time away to refocus.
This year I hope you play bigger, bolder, but softer and with wisdom you’e learned for every yes and no and really can be intentional with your time adding in things that are important, and saying no or saying not for now to things draining you.
